Sights in Pustertal Valley? Look no further! If you are planning to dedicate yourself to local culture during your holiday at Plan de Corones/Kronplatz, then here are our tips for you! Visit Brunico/Bruneck Castle with one of the six Messner Mountain Museums (MMM of mountaineer Reinhold Messner) – another one is located directly at the top of Plan de Corones/Kronplatz! Other worthwhile sights in Pustertal Valley are the South Tyrolean Folklore Museum in Teodone/Dietenheim in Brunico/Bruneck, the castle in Campo Tures/Sand in Taufers and the visitors mine in Predoi/Prettau; in Bolzano/Bozen make sure to check out the Ötzi Museum and the Museion, the museum of modern art.
Mild summer evenings are best spent doing something fun, like visiting one of the local events: a summer concert, a theatre performance or another colourful festivity in the city or in one of the surrounding villages. Our top tips: the Street Kitchen in Campo Tures/Sand in Taufers (every Tuesday in July and August) and the Midsummer Night’s Dream in Brunico/Bruneck (on four Fridays in July and August): shopping until 10.30 p.m., flea market, live music and lots and lots of culinary delights.
